What is Red25?
Red25 is the group donation program of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Our goal is to rally organisations and groups across the country to achieve, together, 25% of the blood donations needed by Australia.
Who is Red25 open to?
Red25 is open to any groups in Australia who want to save lives together through blood donation. That includes organisations big and small, schools, sports and social clubs, groups of friends and more.
It doesn’t matter if you have 5 members or 500. You can unite to save lives
What’s in it for my organisation?
A donation more powerful than money. A lifesaving social responsibility program. A chance to champion your people. A sense of achievement, inside and out.
It’s about raising spirits and team pride - and about the sense of unity you get from working together for something bigger than yourself.

How does my organisation/group become part of Red25
Do I need to join a group to be part of Red25?
Yes. If you believe in blood donation but don’t have an existing group to join, start one! Every donor you can recruit to the cause can save hundreds of lives.
What is a Red25 coordinator and what do they do?
Being a Red25 Coordinator is a unique leadership opportunities. It’s the chance to lead a meaningful cause and be recognised for it.
You are a champion for the program in your organisation and community. You’ll need to plan, promote and organise your group.
We'll arm you with the tools and resources to help recruit blood donors.
You’ll be our main contact, and we’ll be in touch with you regularly about news, events, and calls for donation.
As a coordinator, you don’t need to be an expert on blood donation. You can call us with questions any time. Our Red25 representatives are here to give you the help you need to achieve our shared mission.
If you’re unable to give blood yourself but are still a passionate advocate, being a Red25 coordinator is a great way to be part of the movement.
