Black Saturday bushfire pledges
The Red Cross Blood Service would like to thank the thousands of people who pledged to donate blood in support of the Victorian bushfire victims.
Australia needs 25,000 blood donations each week to ensure there are adequate supplies for those people who need it. Many regular donors are unable to donate during winter due to colds and flu. If you are considering giving blood why not make an appointment during the winter months.
We sincerely thank everyone who has given blood and hope to see you in a donor centre soon.
Red Cross bushfire appeal closed 17 April
Description Red Cross would like to thank the hundreds of thousands of people, as well as governments and corporate Australia who have contributed to the biggest fundraising appeal of its kind in support of the Black Saturday bushfire victims.
