Dr Surendra Karki is a public health Epidemiologist in R&D at Lifeblood. 

Surendra conducts epidemiological research using large-scale data to understand blood donor’s health and well-being. He collaborates with internal stakeholders and external academic partners for high quality research outcomes. He also works with other researchers and scientists at Lifeblood sharing his knowledge of clinical and epidemiological study design, and data analysis. 

Surendra obtained his PhD in Epidemiology from Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. Prior to joining Lifeblood, Surendra worked as postdoctoral research fellow at UNSW Sydney. 

Currently, he is supervising several higher degree research students.
