Donor services

What we do

Collect blood donations and managing end-to-end donor experience within our national contact centre and donor centres. We also manage regional partnerships — all really important roles in collecting blood donations.

Our challenge

We truly value our amazing donors for their life-giving gift of blood, as well as the time they take out of their busy lives to give. We’re focused on donor satisfaction and retention, reducing wait times and enhancing the experience for donors.

Who we’re looking for

  • Customer-focused people to provide a warm and welcoming experience to our generous donors throughout their entire donation experience. We provide people (including those who have no medical qualifications or prior nursing experience) the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Pathology (and on-the-job training) to ensure they have the skills to safely insert and remove needles, in the role of a Donor Services Nursing Assistant.
  • We’re constantly on the lookout for talented Registered and Enrolled Nurses to apply their skills in our unique environment.
  • Donor Service Consultants to work in our National Contact Centre, keeping our existing and future donors well-informed.
  • Managers and Team Leaders who are confident and experienced in all components of operational excellence.
  • Other specialist roles

We operate over 90 fixed and mobile blood collection centres in metropolitan and regional areas across Australia and have administrative offices in multiple states.
