The challenge is on from 1 April to 30 June to see which council can save the most lives through blood donation.
The inaugral Councils Blood Challenge aims to raise awareness and encourage blood donation through friendly competition.
Donations from participating council employees are tracked and tallied through Red25 online for the duration of the period.
Who is eligible to participate
The challenge is open to all council employees.
How to get involved
You need to be part of your council’s Red25 group to have the donations you make during the challenge added to its total tally. Whether you go alone or with colleagues, every donation you make counts.
If you haven’t participated before or aren’t a member of Red25
- Join your council's Red25 group
- Use our online form or call 13 14 95 to book your appointment to donate blood between 1 April and 30 June
- Give blood to have your donation automatically added to your council's tally
- Track how you council is progressing on the results page
