Donor Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to register, the registration forms and ongoing communication and recognition form these Terms and Conditions.
2. By entering, entrants acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Frequent Donor Loyalty Program may also be referred to as "the program" or "Loyalty Program" both within these Terms and Conditions and throughout the communication relating to the Frequent Donor Loyalty Program.
4. The promoter of the Frequent Donor Loyalty Program is the Australian Red Cross Blood Service of Level 6, 464 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, VIC 3004 (ABN 50 169 561 394 003) and may also be referred to within these Terms and Conditions as the Blood Service.
5. Entry is open to all Australian Red Cross Blood Service blood donors who register for the program and who pledge a level of support as outlined in clause 6 and update their contact details between 1 January 2010 and 30 September 2010.
6. Registration will be accepted by any one of the following methods only:
- Sending a completed registration form to Blood Service Loyalty Program, Reply Paid 697, Virginia BC QLD, 4014;
- Calling 13 14 95 and providing your details;
- Registering online; or
- Completing a form in a Blood Service donor centre and returning it to a Blood Service staff member.
7. Multiple registrations are not permitted. In the event that two registrations are received from any donor the higher pledge level will be recorded.
8. The following pledge levels have been established for the Loyalty Program in 2010:
- Whole Blood
Three (3) donations - Apheresis
i. Ten (10) donations
ii. Fifteen (15) donations
iii. Twenty (20) donations
9. Donors in the Loyalty Program may pledge a number of donations to be completed in 2010. In the event that a pledge level is not selected at registration, whole blood donors will be registered to donate three (3) times in 2010 and Apheresis donors will be registered for ten (10) donations
10. Fulfilment of donors’ Loyalty Program pledges will be determined by tallying the number of donations throughout 2010 and comparing the total against the relevant pledge level outlined in clause 8.
11. Loyalty Program members who meet their pledge as outlined in clause 9 by 31 December 2010 will be recognised by the Blood Service in a form yet to be determined, within 2 months of that date.
12. Donations made from 1 January 2010 are counted toward each donor’s pledge.
13. Registration will open for all blood donors on 15 February 2010 and will close at midnight 30 September 2010.
14. All entries become the property of the Blood Service and will be entered into a database which will be maintained in accordance with the Blood Service privacy policy .
15. Members will be communicated with throughout the year regarding the Loyalty Program, progress on their pledge and recognising their achievement.
16. The competition will be promoted via donateblood.com.au, in centre, via direct email and mail to donors and through general donor communication such as Life magazine.
